Nor1251/1253: Acoustic Precision Calibrators

The robust and handy acoustic calibrators are available in 2 versions with varying degrees of accuracy. The class 1 calibrator Nor1251 is applied most frequently. The Nor1253 is mainly suited for laboratory use. All calibrators have an internal control circuit, which ensures the calibration level unaffected by environmental variables and load volumes.

Acoustic precision calibrator class 1

Automatic compensation for changes of the load volume in the calibrator opening, which makes the manual level correction for the effective volume of different microphone types redundant.
Compensation for changes of temperature, humidity and barometric air pressure, so correction of these parameters is no longer required.
Output level 114.0 ± 0.2 dB @ 1 kHz
Compliance with IEC 60942 class 1, automatic shutdown of the calibrator after removing the microphone.
Suited for 1”- , ½”- and ¼”-microphone capsules by means of appropriate adapters.
Powered by a standard 9V battery.
